is a Gift"
book fair program was developed by Usborne
Books to encourage reading and at the same time, raise money and/or free books
for your school or organization. We understand the needs and challenges faced by
organizations trying to raise funds so we've designed the program to make it
both easy on sponsors and successful in reaching your fundraising goals! With
the FREE book and/or cash incentives that are in place for each book fair
sponsor, your fundraising options are as easy as 1, 2, 3:
1. Cash - fund special projects, teacher resources or extras for your
students
2. Money and books - provides the sponsor with cash and FREE books
for the library
3. FREE books - Up to 50% of retail sales in free books
Your Consultant Will Do Most Of The Work
The Usborne educational consultant will literally take you by the hand
and walk you through a fund-raising and mind-enriching event where there are two
winners - your students and your school! All of the Usborne
"Reading
is a Gift" book fair
promotional materials are provided by the consultant to help make your event a
huge success.

"Reach for the Stars"
Tired of the same old fundraisers year after year? Run out of ideas for
something different to raise funds? Want to give the kids something that they
will really like for prizes? Consider Usborne Books "Reach for the Stars"
for your next fundraiser!
"Reach for the Stars"
is a pledge-based reading incentive program that puts quality books in to the
hands of children and rewards them for reading, as well as benefiting the
organization in the form of cash and/or books.
The
"Reach for the Stars"
program can return over 100% of all pledges to the organization and children
in a combination of award-winning Usborne books and cash.
Any organized group of children is eligible to participate. This would
include, but not limited to schools, classrooms, clubs, Girl and Boy Scout
Troops, sp0rts teams, preschools, church or religious groups, and home school
groups.

"Literacy for a Lifetime"
is a matching grant program offered
by the Educational Development Corporation, trade publisher of Usborne
children's books and Kane/Miller children's books.
Our goal is to help your organization maximize your grant money or donated
funds. Usborne books and
Kane/Miller books purchased through the
"Literacy for a Lifetime"
program are matched
with 50% in additional books for free.
If you are interested in purchasing books for one of
the schools or libraries below, you may order online with a
Purchase Order or Credit Card!! There is a 20% discount on orders over
$200.
